OSLA - Oxford Social Lettings Agency

A quick guide to letting your property through Oxford Social Lettings Agency.

The Agency was set up in 1992 to provide a first class management service to property owners and good quality family homes for rent in Oxfordshire. The homes we manage are used as temporary accomodation for families referred to us by the Local Authorities in Oxfordshire.
What is The Oxford Social Lettings Agency?

Oxford Social Lettings Agency is run jointly by two local Housing Associations, Oxford Citizens Housing Association and Catalyst Communities Housing Association. These Associations have a long history or providing housing in Oxfordshire and together have over 4,500 permanent and temporary homes in the Oxfordshire area. As housing associations they are non-profit making and have to conform to the strict standards laid down by the Housing Corporation.

The partnership between these two associations enables landlords to take full advantage of their combined experience in property management. The Oxford Social Lettings Agency acts as the initial point of contact, finding and preparing properties for letting. Properties are then managed by one of the housing associations for an agreed lease period.

Who Are Our Tenants?

Tenants are nominated by the Local Authorities with whom we work and are people whom the council have a legal responsibility to house. They live in OSLA homes under Assured Shorthold Tenancies until they can move to permanent housing.
